- Long Term Conditions – There are around 15 million people in England with long-term conditions (Source: Dept of Health). Living with a long-term condition can feel like a daily battle to overcome pain, or physical or mental barriers. It is important to know that you do not need to fight alone. There are many groups in the local area that can provide emotional and practical support, which is tailored to the needs of individuals with long- term conditions.

Domestic violence is “any incident of threatening behaviour, violence or abuse (psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional) between adults who are, or have been, intimate partners or family members, regardless of gender or sexuality”. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, it is important to get help – it is a horrible thing to endure. Often, the perpetrator (the person who hits out) can be nice one moment and violent the next. The victim often develops bad thoughts which are simply not true – for example, blaming themselves for their partner’s behaviour or convincing themselves that one day, their partner will change.
