| Vasectomy | 90% of vasectomies to be performed under local anaesthetic outside of the local district hospital. |

► patients must be over age 18 ► no significant obesity ie BMI<35 ► no severe disability ► no h/o prev adverse reaction to anaesthesia ► no h/o multiple allergies ► no prev major laporatomy / abdo surgery ► no h/o DVT or PE ► no ASA categories 3 and 4 ► home/social support MUST be available
