Refer to Nurse Catherine Robinson - via reception, ask patient to book in
Pregnant smokers - refer to BRASS
When a patient asks a GP to help stop
smoking:
►Issue a script for 2w (high strength)
►Inform Nurse Catherine (email or practice notes) - include EMIS number, she
will continue script for 6w then plan a reduction
►For Zyban, check specific contraindications: mainly co-administration with
antidepressants, do not issue Zyban AND NRT
