Are you female and a refugee, asylum seeker or from an minority ethnic background?

There is a new project called the Together Women Project which aims to discourage isolation by encouraging participation in activities in the community. We aim to help women who are refugees, asylum seekers of from a minority ethnic background to develop their confidence and self-esteem in addressing any issues they may have by offering advice, guidance, focussed workshops and groups. These include

  • counselling,
  • healthy relationships,
  • confidence building,
  • family legal advice,
  • and many more.

We can offer the service either from our base in the Carlisle Business Centre or by making appointments in community centres.
